Fall judo starts, September 7, 2011
Registration for fall judo begins on Wednesday September 7 at 7pm. Registration is also available throughout the year as needed.
Thursday September 8 is the first day of fall judo.
Congratulations Geoff Hewson, June 19, 2011
Congratulations to Geoff for earning his black belt on June 19, 2011. He worked very hard, and by all accounts performed an excellent kata. Way to go Geoff.
Keiko Sasaki gets Sandan, June 19, 2011
Congratulations to Keiko Sasaki from Delta Kaigan for earning her Sandan (3rd degree Black Belt). Keiko was uke for Geoff`s naga no kata, and Geoff was uke for Keiko`s nage no kata (5 sets) and ju no kata.
Japan Earthquake Fundraiser, April 8, 2011
Todd Conner, a Delta Kaigan Judo member, held a Japan Earthquake fundraiser on Friday April 8 at the Metro Theatre in New Westminster. We are very pleased to announce that this event raised over $20,000, which went directly to the Red Cross.
The event featured many displays of Japanese culture, including:
Dancers
Drummers
Karate
Judo
Kyudo

The Delta Kaigan Judo Club held its Annual Interclub shiai on March 19th, 2011.
